Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - 2023 Annual Catalogue Pre-Order

Hello and welcome to the April Stampers Showcase Blog Hop. This month we are creating with products purchased during the 2023 Annual Catalogue Pre-Order. I love preordering products and enjoy the early release for Demonstrators before a new catalogue.

With the new ctatalogue comes a core colour refresh this year as well as the five new In Colours. I love seeing the new colours each year. Stampin' Up!® truly have an amazing ability to be on trend with colours. Something I love about the company, so clever. With the colour refresh happening I focused on tpurcvhasing the new inks, card stock and Stampin' Blends. I chose only two stamp sets and have combined both for my project for this months hop. The Countryside Corners Bundle and Lasting Joy stamp set. I wont include links to products this time as they are unavailable until 2 May 2023. I have teamed Night of Navy with the new gorgeous Bubble Bath, the most gorgeous pink!

I have created the centre panel by stamping images from the lasting Joy stamp set before Die Cutting using the Countryside Corners Dies. I stamped the Countryside Corners stamp in Versamark™ on Night of Navy card stock before sprinkling with white embossing powder and setting with the heat tool, using the die cut to cut out at the stitched edge.

The coordinating Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder for the background layer. so beautiful!!You will love the coordinating Designer Series Paper all in blues too. The DSP reminds me of Liberty fabric that I adore. The Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon is continuing in the new catalogue and felt this was the perfect addition along with threeIridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the centre panel.

I hope you like my pretty card and the colours that I love together.

I have been kept out of the craft room as I have ongoing Tendonitis in my right wrist. This has lasted over 5 months, frustratingly. I have a new puppy called Maggie. Here is a picture of her helping me create this afternoon in the craft room by keeping me company and demanding treats. She is a very sweet natured girl who has settled well into our home. She is a Groodle and is 12 weeks old currently.

  2. I, too, love this card! I didn’t notice how well the Lasting Joy stamp set coordinates with the Countryside Inn suite until I saw your card. You have a great eye. I’ll be ordering the Lasting Joy stamp set ASAP!
