Stampers Showcase Blog Hop -Fall/ Autumn/Halloween

Hello and welcome to my blog post for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop for September.

This month I have created an Autumn Thank You card. I have used the stunning Beautiful Autumn stamp set along with the Arrange a Wreath Bundle.

I wanted to create an earthy Thank You card and my starting point was the beautiful wood look paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper which had beautiful tones that coordinated with the rich colour Cinnamon Cider. Just perfect together!

  1. Start with a Cinnamon Cider card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm
  2. Cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm.
  3. Cut the In Good Taste designer series paper to measure 9.7cm x 14.1cm and flue to the Early Espresso matt ayer.
  4. Die cut two of the leaf wreaths from the Wreath Builder dies in Early Espresso card stock.
  5. On a piece of Whisper White card stock stamp the acorn and leaf images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso ink and colour with the Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends. Punch out with the coordinating punch from the Autumn Punch Pack.
  6. Stamp the Sentiment from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Cinnamon Cider card stock. Fussy cut this sentiment using your paper snips.
  7. Glue the two wreath layers together and then pop up on the card front using Dimensionals.
  8. Glue the acorns and leaves around the wreath.
  9. Use Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the right hand side of the wreath.
  10. Pop the card front up on Dimensionals and adhere to the Cinnamon Cider card base.
  11. Tie a piece of Linen Thread in a bow and adhere to the bottom of the wreath  using a small amount of glue.

I hope you like my card as much as I do. I usually like to create soft and pretty cards so I challenged myself to create a fall card with the lovely wood DSP in fall colours.

Colour INKspiration #86

Hello and welcome to my blog post for Colour INKspiration #86!

Some beautiful colours to play with for this challenge. My thoughts turned instantly to the sea and I chose the very sweet Whale Done stamp set for this challenge. The challenge photo was inspirational and I recreated the water droplets using the beautiful Holiday Rhinestones in Coastal Cabana.

Here is my creation for this challenge.

  1. Start with a Pacific Point card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm.
  2. Cut another piece of Pacific Point card stock to measure 10cm x 13.5cm and use the large stitched rectangle die to create the stitched Pacific Point matt layer. Glue this to the card base.
  3. Cut the Whale of a time DSP to measure 11cm x 7.5cm and glue this on the top of the matt layer.
  4. Stamp the Whale in Coastal Cabana ink onto a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock and punch out with the Whale Builder punch.
  5. Stamp two of the large seaweed and one of the smaller seaweed in Shaded Spruce ink on Shaded Spruce card stock. Fussy cut these three images out with your paper snips.
  6. Stamp the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink on a 1.9cm x 7.5cm piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch the left end of the sentiment strip with the Banners Pick a Punch.
  7. Pop the sentiment layer up with Dimensionals on the bottom right of DSP layer.
  8. Arrange the three seaweed pieces on the bottom right of DSP under where you are going to place the Whale.
  9. Pop the Whale image up on Dimensionals and place it over the top of the seaweed and the sentiment layer.
  10. Use three of the Coastal Cabana Rhinestones to create some little bubbles from the front of the whale.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Team Blog Hop - September

Hello and welcome to my post for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Team Blog Hop!

I cannot believe September is here already. So I thought it was time to turn my creative thoughts to Christmas cards. I do want to send more cards this year and I finally created my first festive card for this Blog Hop. I have used the cute Perfectly Plaid stamp set and the coordinating Pine Tree punch for my quick and easy card.

  1. Start with a Just Jade card base measuring 21cm x 10.5cm scored and folded in half.
  2. Cut another piece of Just Jade card stock to measure  10cm x 14.4cm.
  3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 9.7cm x 14.1cm Run this through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
  4. Cut a stitched circle out of a piece of Vellum card stock.
  5. Cut a layering circle out of a pice of Whisper White card stock
  6. On a piece of Whisper White card stock brayer some Just Jade Ink. Then stamp the Christmas tree in Versamark™ on the top. Sprinkle on some White Embossing powder and set with the heat tool. Punch out with the Pine Tree punch.
  7. Layer the tree, Vellum and Whisper White circle with dimensionals or glue.
  8. Secure a 12cm length of the Just Jade Gingham ribbon around the embossed Whisper White layer and secure at the back with tear n' tape. Glue this to the Just Jade matt layer then glue to the card base.
  9. Use dimensionals to adhere the tree and circle layers to the centre of the card and ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed reading how all this came together. My favourite colour is green and the Just Jade looks amazing against Whisper White.

Make sure that you hop around and look at everyones fabulous creations for this months hop!

Take care!
