Stampers Showcase Bog Hop September

It is time for the stampers showcase blog hop for September.

This months theme is Holiday Catalogue Favourites.

Now this was a real struggle for me as the whole catalogue is filled with my favourite things. Anything Christmas is always a favourite and this catalogue is brimming with beautiful products to help you create a bit of your own magic this Christmas.

I decided to chose the first bundle I purchased from the catalogue when it was released.

The Brightly Gleaming Bundle and Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper jumped out at me straight away with the Copper mixed with Mossy Meadow, Pretty Peacock and Night of Navy! Simply stunning!

I started with a Night of Navy Card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half.

I then glued a piece of the DSP measuring 10cm x 14.4cm on top of that. Then a piece of the DSP measuring 6.5cm x 10.8cm glued onto another piece of Night of Navy measuring 7cm x 11.3cm. I then glued this to the base of the card.

I Cut out the second largest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Stamp set on the bottom right of the circle in Versa Mark™ then sprinkled with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. I then heat set it with the heat tool. I also stamped the Holly in  Versa Mark™ then sprinkled with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. I then heat set it with the heat tool. I coloured the leaves of the Holly with Mossy Meadow Blends. The berries were coloured in using the gorgeous new Celestial Copper Delicate Metallic Ink and a Blender Pen. Oh my! This ink is just amazing and gives a beautiful shine without the need to heat emboss. Perfect for making  quite a few cards at once. Make sure you treat yourself to some as you will love it as much as I do!

I fussy cut the Holly and popped this up on my Vanilla sentiment circle layer with Dimensionals. Then popped that layer using Dimensionals onto the card base. And your card is finished!

Colour INKspiration #64

Hello and welcome to my blog!

It is time for the Colour INKspiration Crew Blog Hop!

This is a beautiful posy of flowers for the inspiration this month.
The colours for this challenge are Highland Heather, Purple Posy and Garden Green.

When the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks appeared in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue I ordered them straight away. I love being able to create background images with masks.  I wanted to make a tropical card with the challenge colours.

I started with a Whisper White base card measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half.

I then used the sponge brayers to create the background image with the Sponge Brayers and Garden Green ink on a 10cm x 14.4cm piece of Whisper White. I used some washing tape to hold the card stock and the mask in place when brayering. I then glued this to the front of the card base.

I stamped two of the floral images from the Floral Essence stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I then punched these out. Using the Stampin' Blends I coloured them in with Highland Heather and Purple Posy. Then glued the two flowers together and let then dry.

I stamped the leaf image from the Floral Essence stamp set twice in Garden Green on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then punched it out with the Leaf Punch.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Highland Heather on a piece of Whisper White card stock then punched this out with the Timeless Label Punch.

I glued the sentiment label to the brayered layer. I then glued the leaves to the base layer and glued the flower in place.

The products used to create this card are in the Product List below post!

Colour INKspiration #63

Hello and welcome to my blog!

It is time for another Colour INKspiration Crew Challenge!

You may have arrived here from Nicole Wilson and her amazing creation.

The colours for this challenge are  Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Gold Foil.
The inspiration picture is so pretty and conjures up Grand European Decor in my mind.

I have chosen to use a combination of two different suites for this card. I have used the Botanical Tags its and the Free as a Bird stamp set.

I have started with a Whisper White card base. I then cut another piece of Whisper White to 10cm x 14.4 cm and Embossed it with the Scripty 3D folder.  Then glued this to the card base.
I die cut the frame out of Whisper White card stock. I coloured the birds in with my Seaside Spray Blends.

I stamped threee of the floral images from the Free as a Bird stamp set and coloured them in with Rococo Rose ink and a Blender Pen.

I cut out a piece of the Gold Foil to sit behind the frame. I glued these layers together then glued them to the embossed layer. Then glued the three flowers to the left hand side of the frame.

I enjoyed creating this card and hope that you like it too!

Spring is here in Australia so we are enjoying more outdoor activities as the weather warms up.  I walk every evening and it is much nicer to do this in the daylight. Our sunsets have been spectacular this week so it has been even more enjoyable to be out walking at that time of the day.

Make sure you click the next button and see what my very talented friend Julia Quinn has created for this challenge. Then make sure you hop all the way around to see the wonderful crew creations for this challenge!

Have a great week!

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - September

Hello and welcome to my blog!

It is time again for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

This month I have created a very simple and elegant Christmas Card. Using two bundles from the new 2019 Holiday Catalogue. Please contact me if you would like a copy of the Catalogue.

I have used Very Vanilla as my card base.  I cut a piece of Very Vanilla to 10cm x 14.4cm and embossed this with the stunning Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. This folder is quickly becoming my favourite go to Embossing Folder. I glued this layer to the card base.

I cut two of the wreaths from the All Around Wreath Dies in Mossy Meadow and glued them together then glued them to the Embossed layer.

I stamped the sentiment banner from Toile Christmas Stamp Set in Versa Mark™ on a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and then sprinkled Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. I heat set it with the heat tool then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Christmas Cardinal Dies. I then used Dimensionals to place this in the centre of the wreath.

I hope you have enjoyed reading how this card was created.

Make sure that you click on the links below to visit everyone's blog for this month. There are so many amazing projects to see this month.

Have a wonderful week!
