Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for October 2026!

This month we have a fun Sketch Challenge to share with you. I cannot wait to see each of the Team's projects using the sketch below.

The year is almost at an end and I am getting organised to make and send Christmas cards. I do love making cards for the festive season. I also love every stamp set and Designer Series Paper that Stampin' Up!® releases for Christmas. This year it certainly was hard to decide on a Suite to purchase for my Christmas cards. I settled on the gorgeous Neutral Noel Suite for its gentle colour palette and sweet scenes.

I have kept my card simple and easy to reproduce. The Neutral Noel Designer Series Paper is stunning and I wanted to incorporate it in a way that it would shine!  It is the background mat layer. I glued this to Basic White card base. All other pieces of card stock are Basic White. I embossed the second mat layer using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder for some texture. This was glued to the Designer Series Paper

I stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. Some are stamped of to give depth to my scene. I then spritzed some Crumb Cake over the card stock to give the piece more interest in the white blank spaces. I cut the card stock into four strips and mounted each piece on a slightly larger piece of Basic White card stock. I added Dimensionals to the back of each piece and adhered the pieces to the card front.

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark™ink. Gold embossing powder was sprinkled on top and set with the Heat Tool. Die cut with the coordinating die from the Noel Tidings Dies. I adhered the sentiment using Dimensionals.

The final touches were a double bow in Crumb Cake from the Neutrals Jute Combo Pack and three Gold Adhesive Backed Dots.

Up next this month is the wonderful Teri West!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will use this sketch to create a card sometime soon.  A sketch is a great way to get started when creating a card. And,  this sketch will work with any stamp set you have.
