Stampers Showcase Blog Hop | Spring Has Sprung

Hello and welcome to another Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!

The crew are from all around the world and we love to create monthly with a theme to inspire you! This months theme is Spring Has Sprung! We are heading into Autumn here in Australia, but, it was so lovely to create a spring inspired card for this blog hop. You will want to make your way through the whole blog hop to see all the amazing projects we have to share with you this month.

I hope that you like my project as much as I do!

Everyone that knows me knows that I love to create wreath cards and decided a Spring wreath is perfect for this months project.

  1. Start with a Petal Pink card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm
  2. Cut another piece of Petal Pink card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm
  3. Cut a piece of Shimmery White card stock to measure 9.8cm x 14.2cm. Glue this to the matt layer and then to the card base
  4. Colour a piece of Fluid 100 water colour card stock with Pear Pizzaz ink with a Water Painter. Allow to dry and die cut the leaf wreath from the Build A Wreath Dies
  5. On another piece of Fluid 100 card stock use a Water Painter to colour Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and So Saffron in three separate areas. Die cut flowers from the Build A Wreath Dies. Keep the flowers centres attached by placing a mini dimensional behind each one.
  6. Glue the Pear Pizzaz wreath to the Shimmer White card stock and arrange the Flowers on top securing them with the attached dimensional. I groped them together in groups of two or three around the wreath
  7. Stamp the small Butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance bundle in Calypso Coral of Fluid 100 Water Colour card stock. Then colour with Water Painters. Die cut using the coordinating die. Cut out a similar sized detailed butterfly and glue this to the top of the coloured butterfly. Using a dimensional secure this to the right hand side of the wreath
  8. Secure nine pearls around the wreath

I hope you enjoyed reading how my project for spring came together. I had a lot of fun creating for this blog hop!

I wanted to make an Australian themed Easter card to send to someone special. I chose to use the Kangaroo from Kangaroo & Co stamp set and have her pouch overflowing with Easter eggs. The Easter eggs are from the Arrange A Wreath bundle as is the Sentiment. The die used for the sentiment is from the Messges Dies in the Mini Catalogue.

  1. Start with a Melon Mambo card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and fold in half
  2. Cut another piece of Melon Mambo card stock to measure 10cm x 14.3cm. Stamp this piece with the eggs from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set in Melon Mambo
  3.  Tie a piece of the Blushing Bride Twine around the centre of the matt layer twice and secure at the back with Tear n Tape. Tie another piece in a bow on the right hand side of the card front
  4. Die cut the Scalloped Rectangle in Basic White card stock
  5. Stamp the Kangaroo in Crumb cake in and Die cut with the coordinating Kangaroo Die. Colour with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends
  6. Stamp the eggs in Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo ink and die cut with the coordinating die from the Wreath Builder Dies
  7. Adhere the kangaroo to the Scalloped  Rectangle using Dimensionals and then the eggs with Dimensionals and glue
  8. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark™, then sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. Die cut with the Messages Dies and adhere to the scalloped rectangle using glue

Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop | Easter and Spring

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop!

We have a fantastic hop to share with you all today. We hope to inspire you with our Easter and Spring projects this month.  Easter is such a fun theme to create for.  I love all the Easter Decor items in the shops. I do love everything Peter Rabbit too! Rabbits are perfect at Easter time and wanted to create a treat box to give to someone special filled with easter eggs.

I started with a cute Love You Always Treat Box and covered it with a piece of the Subtle's Designer Series Paper in So Saffron. I used Stampin' Seal + to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Treat Box.I ran two strands of the White Twine around the right hand side of the box and tied a bow at the top.

I then used the cracked egg from the Dino Dies and die cut half an egg in Basic White Card Stock. I adhered this to the centre of the box using Dimensionals.

I stamped the Bunny, Chick and Tulip in Crumb Cake ink on Basic White Card Stock and coloured them in with Stampin' Blends. I fussy cut all three images and adhered them to the left hand side of the egg using Dimensionals and Multipurpose Glue.

I stamped the Easter Blessings sentiment on a piece of Basic Black card stock in Versamark™ ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I trimmed it down and created a banner with my paper snips. I glued this sentiment into position under the Chicks head. And this is how easy and fun this project was to make!
