Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #176.
This challenges sweet inspiration picture was chosen by crew member Lou Kitzelman. It is an Australian Pink Robin and I have never seen one of these beautiful birds before. I am on the look out for one now. The pink and black colouriyng is just so beautiful!

I was so in love with the image above I used it for my inspiration and used the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle as the bird was perfect. Black is not a colour that instantly comes to mind when chosing colours for birds, unless it is a crow of course.
The card base is Basic White as is the top layer embossed with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. The Petunia Pop Designer Series Paper was cut then I used Petunia Pop ink and a Blending Brush to highlight the edges of the DSP. There is a thin strip of Petunia Pop card stock glued to the top of the DSP layer. Then a length of the Gold 1/8 Trim adhered across between the card stock and DSP.
I stamped the bird in Memento ™ Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card stock before colouring with the Basic Black, Petunia Pop and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. I die cut three of the leaves in Granny Apple Green card stock and also the coloured bird. I adhered the leaves to the back of the bird before adhering it to the card front using Dimensionals.
I mixed some Embossing Paste with Petinia Pop ink with a Palette Knife and used it on the berries that the bird is holding for added texture.
The sentiment from the Perennial Postage stamp set was stamped in Petunia Pop ink on Basic White card stock and die cut using the circle die from the Sending Love Dies. Three of the Gold pearls were placed around the bird to finish my card.
I hope I have inspired you with this colour palette. If you would like to join the Colour INKspirations Facebook Group for more inspiration you can do that
