Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - 2023 In - Colours

Hello and welcome to the May Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!

This month we are showcasing the new 2023 -2025 In Colours. These earthy colours are simply stunning. A perfect addition to your colour collection as they are all beautiful and work with so many colour palettes.

New In Colours are Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, Boho Blue, Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path. Don't you just love these earthy tones!

I decided to use the amazing Timeless Arrangements Bundle from page 67 of the Annual Catalogue. This sweet bundle is a joy to use as some of the intricate dies are attatched to a strip of card within the die cut piece. Much easier to glue these die cut pieces where you want them to go. Such a great innovative addition to these dies.

To make it easy I cut out two of the white sentiment labels and glued the intricate pieces to the back one before attatching the front sentimaent label. So very easy to work with.

The Moody Mauve Jute is easy to work with and looks great against the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The In Colour Dots in Moody Mauve were the perfect finishing touch for my card. So pretty!

I hope you have enjoyed my project using the wonderful new In Colours. They look fabulous together and with other colours from both core and In Colour colours.

Here is the fabulous inspration image chosen by crew member Cathy Pinchbeck. The image is from this web page https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3b/91/25/3b91253243647e8442f25ceb0b2e5b3f.jpg

I have been wanting to do something colourful with the Alphabet ȧ La Mode Dies. They are just so perfect for any project requiring letters. A fun way is to have them in different colours. I just use Adhesive Sheets to help them stick to the cardstock and a ruler. Super fun and super easy.

The birthday sentiment is from the Two Tone Flora stamp set with happy removed. The beautiful sheer ribbon is folded over at the left hand side to create the left end. I think it looks good this way and won't fray hopefully. I added some Basic Rhinestones to bring out the silver in the sheer ribbon

I hope I have inspired you to make something colourful today or join the Colour INKspiration Crew and join in the challenge.

Have a wonderful week!

Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for May 2023.

Happy Mother’s Day! (In Australia)

This month the wonderful crew have a fun sketch to work with. This sketch is detailed andd I wanted to create a card with some of the new core colours. Bubble Bath in particular as it has become a firm favourite. It is then perfect pink shade in my opinion. Below is an image of the sketch.

Here is my card using the beautiful Two Toned Flora Bundle. My favourite floral stamp set at the moment. I have teamed it with the sentiment dies from the Love for You dies.I think they are perfectly paired as well.

I settled on the three subtle pinks and mauves from the Subtles range. Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather for the flowers. I was dying to use Lost Lagoon again so I went with that for the leaves. I love these tones together. So soft and pretty.

There is a diamond shape in the centre of the sketch and after using the beautiful detailed die for the background I decided to use Vellum as this would not hide all of the beautifully detailed background.  I chose Gold Foil to make the simple sentiment pop. So easy just to glue in place on that Bubble Bath strip of card stock.

A fairly straight forward card. A tip is to use the adhesive sheets before cutting the large detailed die for the background and run it through the Cut & Emboss Machin a few times to cut all the detail well.

Up next on this months Sketch Challenge Blog Hop is the amazingly talented Karen Henderson.

Click on the next button below to head to her blog post to see what wonderful project she has created.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to create today, perhaps using this sketch as inspiration. you can remove elements to simplify it more.

Hve a wonderful day!
