Colour INKspiration #62

\\Hello and welcome to my blog!

I love the rustic daisy inspiration photo for this challenge.

The colours for this challenge are Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Call Me Clover. Such a versatile colour combination for both male and female cards.

I had no trouble deciding which stamp set to use for this challenge. Dino Days was calling to me straight away. This is such a cute stamp set and I just love playing around with the Dino Days stamp set and coordinating dies.

The Crumb Cake background was created by stamping the image in Crumb Cake ink around the outside of the card stock. I stamped the dinosaur and then die cut it out. The palm tree, pebbles and sentiment were stamped straight onto the Whisper White card stock and the Dinosaur popped up on dimensionals. I glued the three layers together in an offset manner.

I really enjoyed putting this card together and I really love Crushed Curry and Call Me Clover together too!

Make sure you hop on over to my friend Jan Clothier as I know she has created an amazing card for you for this challenge. Please click the next button.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I hope to have inspired you.

Have a fantastic week!

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop Babies and Children

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It is time for another Stampers Showcase Blog Hop. The theme this month is Babies and Children.

I have decided to make a baby card for this challenge.

I started with a Petal Pink card base. I used a sewing machine and white thread to stitch a border around the 10cm x 14.4cm Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper then glued this to a 10.2cm x 14.6cm piece of Petal Pink card stock. Then glueing this to the card base.

I stamped the Duck image from Fable Friends in Memento® Ink on Whisper White Card stock and coloured it in with the Balmy Blue, Petal Pink and Smokey slate Stampin' Blends. The body of the duck was coloured with Smokey Slate and blended with the Colour Lifter. I then fussy cut this image.

The sentiment "welcome" was stamped in Petal Pink and stamped on Whisper White Card Stock. I cut this out using my trimmer to create a rectangle.

Using the Hand Lettered Prose Dies I cut out the letters to spell "baby" twice. I glued two letters together to make each letter more dimensional. I glued these in place.

The Duck and Welcome sentiment are placed using Dimensionals. The little heart is a Heart Epoxy Droplet with a piece of Petal Pink card stock cut to the same heart shape behind it and glued into place.

I really enjoyed putting this sweet little Baby Girl card together and I hope you have enjoyed reading how easily it was to create. I hope that I have inspired you today.

Colour INKspiration #61

Holland welcome to my blog post for the Colour INKspiration Crew Challenge for CI#61

Just look at the beautiful images below for inspiration for this challenge.

The colours for this challenge are Gray Granite, Soft Suede, Whisper White and Mint Macaron.

I decided to create a feminine card with these colours.
I have used the Band Together Bundle to create my card. I love the delicately detailed labels that are in this bundle.

I brayered the Stitched Rectangle Shimmery White Card stock piece with Mint Macaron Ink and then sprayed Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with Isocal over the top to create an extra shimmery effect. I then stamped just the flower image in Mint Macaron over the top of this.

Both the Mint Macaron ribbon and Polka Dot Tulle were threaded through the band label before placing the sentiment on top. The sentiment is in Gray Granite ink and popped up with dimensionals.

I hope you feel inspired after reading my post.

Make sure you click the next button below to hop over to the amazingly talented Julia Quinn!

Have a great week and I appreciate you visiting my blog!

Creating Kindness Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I was asked earlier in the year to be a guest designer with the Creating Kindness Blog Hop. I was delighted and accepted there and then. It is truly an honour to have my work hopping alongside such awesomely talented and beautiful people. Pinch me as I think I am still in shock. I would like to thank the Creating kindness Design Team for inviting me to be the guest designer for August 2019.

I love the name of this design team. And creating kindness is on the top of my list whether creating or sending a card. Or even helping others to create and learn. A card in the mail always makes the recipient feel appreciated. I also love to get together with my amazing team and watch them Create Kindness and share in there own special way. They are wonderful ladies I am so happy to call friends.

The theme of this hop is Music!

I love music and going to live concerts or festivals. Those that know me well know that I have a varied taste in music. I always listen to music when cleaning my home as this makes the job much more enjoyable.I often sisng along whilst I am creating too! The neighbours might not be so happy about the bad singing though!

So, this challenge really appealed to me. Then I set out looking for inspiration in the Annual Catalogue. I found it in the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper sheet music. The beautiful colours and vintage feel was perfect for this challenge.

I have been wanting to say a special thank you to a friend who has supported me amazingly since becoming a demonstrator. She is someone that loves music and plays an instrument too. So I thought this would be perfect for her.

I love making frames out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I glued the DSP onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Card Stock to stabilise this frame before cutting it out with the Big Shot™.

The Magnolia stamp worked beautifully with the Mossy Meadow DSP. And the Bird Ballad Key Trinket the perfect little accent. You could say that this card is quite a fusion of different suites in the Annual Catalogue. And that is another reason to love what Stampin' Up!® has done so beautifully the Annual Catalogue!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today I would love it if you would visit here again. You can subscribe to my blog by placing your email in the subscribe section to the right of here. It certainly would be appreciated by me!
