Stampers Showcase Blog Hop SALE A BRATION and New Catalogue

Hello and welcome to my final post for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop for 2020!

It is always such a fun and creative hop with the lovely design crew from the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop. They are all very talented and lovely folk!

This month we are showcasing Sale-a-Bration pre-order products! There are so many fun items to create with from Sale-a-Bration 2021. The Sale-a-Bration period starts on 5 January until 28 February 2021. The catalogue has many coordinating products with new products featured in the Mini Catalogue that also starts in January 2021.

I decided to create some cards with the stunning Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper! This paper is beautiful and coordinates with the Pretty Perennials Bundle that is available when the new Mini Catalogue goes live.

The floral images in the Paper Blooms DSP are beautiful I started to fussy cut some of them and use them as the main image for my card. I kept cutting and decided that I would make two cards with a small amount of the paper. The card above also features a stamp set with sentiments called Heal Your Heart available as a Sale-a-Bration item. The font in this sentiment stamp set is so pretty.

I created this second card with the extra images I fussy cut. The sentiment from this card is from another Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Darling Donkeys. Both cards are made with the items listed below along with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper,  Heal Your Heart stamp set and the Darling Donkeys stamp set. You really could use any stamp set that you have on hand for the sentiments.

I have kept the products used to a minimum to show that you don't always need a lot of items. This would work well if you are travelling, babysitting or wish to take your creativity with you wherever you  may go!

Thank you for visiting my blog post today. I want to wish you all the best for 2021. Something that has kept me busy and content to stay home this year is creating cards. I posted 74 Christmas cards this year as I had the time to spend making them. Next year I would like to start making them earlier and perhaps post more. There is nothing like going to the mail box and finding a handmade card in there. I received many handmade cards this year and was delighted to open each one of them.

Colour INKspiration #91

Hello and welcome to my blog post for Colour INKspiration #91. This is the last challenge for 2020 and I cannot believe what an incredible year it has been or that Christmas is almost here!

Below is the stunning inspiration picture for this challenge chosen by Design Team Member Lou Kitzelman. My head was full of ideas on how to use these fun colours together.

The Lovely You bundle was perfect for these glorious colours.

Here is my card for this challenge.

  1. Start with a Bermuda Bay card base measuring 21cm x 14cm scored and folded in half.
  2. Cut another piece of Bermuda Bay card stock to measure 13.3cm x 9.9cm.
  3. Using the largest Stitched Rectangle die cut the Whisper White card stock for the image layer.
  4. I placed a piece of wash tape measuring 9cm in the centre of the Whisper White layer  where the sentiment would go to prevent stamping the opposite side of the sentiment.
  5. I stamped my laves and floral images in Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock and Mango Melody.
  6. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 1.9cm x1 0.5cm and stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock.
  7. Glue this to the Bermuda Bay matt layer.
  8. I secured Linen Thread around the centre of the card twice and tied a bow on the right hand side.
  9. I popped the sentiment up on dimensionals.
  10. I placed 5 of the Magenta Madness enamel dots in amongst the floral images to complete my card.

Thank you for visiting my post today and thank you for following my creative journey.
I have had so much amazing support for my little business this year and I hope that I have inspired you to be more creative.

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2021.

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop Winter/Holidays Theme

Hello and welcome to the Winter/Holidays themed Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!

What a year it has been and it is hard to believe that Christmas and the New Year is almost upon us.

I mostly create cards but for this challenge I wanted to make some 3D items and Christmas tags. During this process I discovered that the Essential Tag Punch created tags that fit perfectly into the very sweet little treat box from the Little Treat Box Dies! I was so excited!

I have also create a cute gift with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies to coordinate with the Little Treat box.

Here are the three items side by side. I have used the very sweet Trimming the Town suite for these items and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set for sentiments.

My creations are very easy to create. I have fussy cut all the tiny houses and used the Blue starry DSP for the sky and Whisper White card stock for the trees and foreground cut with the Home Together dies. Gluing all together before using the Essential Tag punch and the Layering Circle Die to cut the shape. The Layering Circle Die will sit on the Scallop Circle from the Little Treat Box Dies. The tag has another tag cut from the spotty DSP sitting behind to help coordinate with the other items.

The spray of greenery and the tag on the Curvy Keepsake box are all included with the Curvy Keepsakes Dies set. Lots of options to decorate this cute little keepsake. Perfect for each guests place at the table on Christmas Day.

I really enjoyed making each little item for this challenge. Each individual one took just minutes to put together.  I plan to make more for the Christmas table and customer thank you gifts. You can see the products that I used at the bottom of my post. All available in my online store too!
