I instantly fell in love with the detailed images from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set in the 2023-2024Annual Catalogue. Such pretty images.

I started by stamping the bloom in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink on a Very Vanilla piece of card stock before using the Water Painter to colour the image. To give the leaves more dimension boith Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock ink was applied. The flower centre is Blackberry Bliss and the outside Berry Burst. Such complimentary colours.

I staped a different image from the stamp set on the Pretty Peacock matt layer to give some more detail. The sentiment is Heat Embossed in Copper. The final touch, a lovely Linen Thread bow underneath the sentiment. It all came together simply which honours this elegant stamped image.

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - Fancy Folds

Hello and welcome to the June Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!!

This month we are featuring Fun Folds. I have had this idea of creating this front panel on a card since purchasing both the Timeless Arrangements Bundle and Countryside Corners Bundle and coming across an old favourite stamp set called Apothecary Art. Some of you may remember or still have this amazing bundle.

I have to say it took a lot of time die cutting and using Glue Dots™ to get all the small pieces in the right position but it is so worth it! The fun fold base is simple and that afforded me time to fiddle around with the die cut pieces. I love Lost LAgoon with the Berry Burst and Bubble Bath.

Inside the card I kept it simple with just the sentiment and some Designer Series Paper. The sentiments in the Timeless Arrangements Bundle are perfect for so many occasions and speak from the heart.

Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop - Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for June!

Each month a group of creative friends create a project for a theme. Below is an image of all of the crew and where they are from around the globe. Such a lovely and talented group of people.

This months challenge required us to create with Let's Go On An Adventure! in mind.

So I instantly thought of my favourite place to be. Beside the water. Whether that be the ocean, river or stream of water. I instantly fell in love with this stamp set for it's simplicity as a wonderful scene can be created on one layer.

After stamping the scene I die cut it using the Deckled Edge Dies as I believe they are perfect with this stamp set. I stamped the sentiment and then used the smallest of the Deckled Edge Dies to Die Cut it. Elegant Linen Thread tied in a double bow behind the sentiment. All balanced by the Crumb Cake card base. A very quick card to create once you have settled on the colour scheme.

I am heading to the beach tomorrow morning to walk my puppy with my husband. She is growing fast and has a lot of energy to burn. There will be a coffee and perhaps lunch at the end of the walk depending on the time. We are teaching Maggie to relax at our feet when we go out to a cafe.

Here is our beautiful Maggie at 4 months of age by the harbour.

Up next on our blog hop is the wonderfully talented Rochelle Laird-Smith.
