"Happy Fall Y'all" - Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the October Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!

This months fun theme is "Happy Fall Y'all"!

I don't often make Fall themed cards and in Australia we are currently in Spring. But we are experiencing some very warm weather for this time of year. I do love the colours of Fall and decided to use the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set for this challenge. If you follow my work you will know that I love creating cards with wreaths.

I started with a Cajun Craze card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half
I glued a piece of Sahara Sand card stock measuring 14.4cm x 10cm to that. I cut another piece of Sahara Sand card stock to 14cm x 9.6cm and ran that piece through my Big Shot™ with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. And glued this to the other Sahara Sand card front.

I cut the wreath in Sahara Sand card stock using the All Around Wreath Dies and popped this onto the card front using dimensionals. I then cut the foliage out of  Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie card stock and glued them to the right hand side of the wreath.

I stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set in Pretty Peacock on Sahara Sand card stock and cut it out with my amazing Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the wreath using dimensionals. I created a bow with the Cajun Craze Linen Thread and used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it.

I hope you enjoyed reading how my Fall card came together!

Colour INKspiration #66

Welcome to my blog post for the Colour INKspiration CI#66!

This posy of beautiful colours is stunning. I love the inspiration photos for our challenges. I hope you join us in creating for one of our challenges soon. They are great way to get your creativity happening.

You may have arrived here from Monique Fielder!

This is my first card using the very sweet It Starts With Art Bundle and also the Heirloom Frames and Dies Bundle. Kind of a perfect match I think.

I started with a whisper White Card Base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half. I then cut another piece of Whisper White card stock measuring 10cm x 14.4 cm and ran it through the subtle embossing folder.

I also used Whisper White cards stock to create the frame using the embossing folder and coordinating die.

I then stamped all the art supply images in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them in with either the Stampin' Blends or ink from the Classic Ink stamp pads and a blender pen. i Die cut each piece.

I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana in Whisper White card stock the stamped the tag edges with the stamp and masked off one end at a time to create a wider label. Then fussy cut and used my new Stampin' Up!® Trimmer to create this bigger label. I really love the new Trimmer and I am sure that my customers who are waiting for it's release will too! It looks very similar to the old Trimmer but everything about it has been improved - you will be impressed!

New Stampin' Up!® Trimmer!
Please contact me for details about its release to customers

I Popped the frame up with dimensionals on the 10cm x 14.4cm embossed piece and ran some Whisper White Bakers Twine around twice creating a bow on the right side of the card.

I positioned all the art supplies using dimensionals and glue. Then popped the sentiment up on top of the frame using dimensionals.

This certainly was a fun card to make and I really enjoy colouring with the Stampin' Blends and the blender pen.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop October 2019

Hello and welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator training Monthly Team Blog Hop!

I have made a sweet Christmas Card using the beautiful Wrapped in Plain Suite.

I started with a Cherry Cobbler Card Base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half.

I then cut another piece of Cherry Cobbler to measure 10cm x 14.4cm. I cut a piece of the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series paper to 14,4cm x 5 cm and glued it to the 10cm x 14.4cm piece at the bottom. I then cut a piece of the pretty Shaded Spruce Ribbon and glued it into position at the top of the DSP. Then glued this layer to the card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Brightly Gleaming stamp set in Cherry Cobbler on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock then cut it out. I stamped the Christmas Tree in Shaded Spruce on Whisper White card stock and punched it out. Then stamp the tree trunk in Soft Suede as it is easier to position once punched out.

I cut a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I popped this up in the centre of the card using dimensionals and popped the tree and the sentiment up using dimensionals.

The gold star was a left over piece from another card using the Stitched Stars Dies. I had kept them for another project and decided to use it to top the sweet little Christmas Tree in this card. I used mini dimensionals to place it at the top of the tree.

Have a great week!

Colour INKspiration #65

Welcome to the Colour INKspiration Challenge #65!

I love this beautiful inspiration photo for this challenge. Stunning!

I had so many ideas floating around with these colours and actually purchased a stamp set to make my card this time. I am not talking about the stamp set that I actually used as I had chosen another. But in the middle of that creation I was constantly thinking about what I could do with this stamp set instead. I am sure you also have ideas that turn into other creations once realised.

I started with a Blackberry Bliss card base measuring 21cm x14.8cm scored and folded in half. I then added a Merry Merlot layer measuring 10.3cm x 14.5cm and glued this to the card front.

I cut a piece of Gray Granite card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm and embossed this piece with the Sublte 3D Embossing Folder. I love the texture that this adds to card stock.

I stamped the wreath from the Tidings All Around stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Gray Granite card stock. i then cut it out using the coordinating die. I cut out some of the foliage from the die set with Blackberry Bliss and Merry Merlot. I assembled by popping the wreath onto the card using Dimensionals. And glued the foliage in place.

I stamped the hello sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Memento™Black Tuxedo ink and cut it out with the Bouquet Bunch framelit™to create a tag. I tied this on the wreath with a piece of Linen Thread.

I really like how this card turned out and I hope you do to. I love wreaths and find them so versatile to use.
