Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop March 2019

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am so happy to be hopping with the lovely folk from Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group.
It is wonderful to be part of this amazing group. I encourage you to hop to each persons blog to see what they have created. You won't be disappointed!

I have created a Sympathy card for this months blog hop. Sometimes it is easier to have a sympathy card ready to give someone at such a difficult time. I find it hard to create when I am bereaved or sad about something. I am sure that it is something most of us struggle with. I depleted my supply last week and wanted to replace them.

I have chosen the Touches of Texture stamp set for the floral images on my card. I love this stamp set and have been wanting to bring it out to use for quite a while.

First I cut a rectangle form the Rectangle Stitched Framelit™️ in Whisper White. I then stamped the floral images in stamped off Pool Party for a softer look.

I mounted and glued that to a Gray Granite rectangle that I cut with my Stampin' trimmer. A 2mm border around the Stitched Rectangle.

On another smaller Whisper White Rectangle Stitched Framelit™️ Die I stamped just the outline of the flower in stamped off Pool Party twice. This Die was cut down at a smaller height. This was done by cutting one rectangle then moving the die down to create a smaller shape on the Big Shot™️.

I used the Well Written Framelits™️ Dies to cut the "Sympathy" out of Gray Granite card stock. I attached this with the Fine Tip Glue Pen to the smaller stitched rectangle piece.

I cut a piece of the divine Painted Season Designer Series Paper to 9.7cm x 14.1cm for the background. I glued it to a mat piece of Gray Granite that is 10cm x 14.4cm.

I attached a 11cm piece of Gray Granite Texture Weave Ribbon to the central position. Then placed the larger Rectangle Stitched Shape on top of that using Dimensionals.

Then the rectangle with the Sympathy sentiment was placed don top of that with more Dimensionals.

I glued this to a card base of Gray Granite. The card base measures 21cm x 14.8cm folded in half to create a card front that is 14.8cm x 10.5cm.

Thanks again for visiting my blog today.

I hope I have inspired you to be creative today and that you will take the time to visit all of the other amazing people on this Blog Hop!
