Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - Autumn Halloween

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop for October. This month the crew have some amazing Autumn and Halloween projects to share with you. I have chosen to make an Autumn card  using an Autumn colour palette.

  1. Start with a Cajun Craze card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and folded in half
  2. Cut another piece of Cajun Craze card stock to measure 9.5cm x 13.8cm. Run this piece through the Cut & Emboss machine with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder then adhere to the card front using DImensionals
  3. From Crumb Cake card stock cut the decorative label from the  Seasonal Labels Dies and a 4cm circle. Cut a 4.8cm circle in the Gold Foil.
  4. Stamp the sentiment on the Crumb Cake circle in Early Espresso ink and Glue to the Gold Circle. Then use Dimensionals to adhere to the label and set aside
  5. On Very Vanilla card stock stamp 2 each of the different leaves in Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink. Die cut using the coordinating dies to cut out
  6. Arrange three of the stamped die cut pieces on the top of where the sentiment layer will go and three at the bottom of where it will go. Secure with Glue Dots™
  7. Cut a 30cm length of the Gold and Vanilla Ribbon and lay it under where the sentiment layers will go and secure with Glue Dots™ then secure the sentiment label with Dimensionals over the top
  8. Using a Glue Dot™secure the Open Leaf trinket to the top left of the sentiment layer

Hello and welcome to the Colour INKspiration #132 Challenge.

Twice a month the crew get together to create to a colour palette inspired by an image chosen by a crew team member. This months image below was chosen by lovely crew member Cathy Pinchbeck What a gorgeous image! I certainly would like to holiday there.

Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. these gorgeous colours.

I recently purchased the very sweet Snowman Magic Bundle and wanted to use it for this challenge to make a Christmas shaker card. I really enjoy making a scene for shaker cards and this one was a lot of fun and worked so well with the challenge colours.

  1. Start with a Starry Sky card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and folded in half
  2. Cut another oi\piece of Starry Sky card stock to measure  10cm x 14.3cm. Stamp the stars from the Trees for Sale stamp set around the edge in Starry Sky ink. You can use the stars from the Snowman Magic stamp set also. Then glue this to the card front
  3. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to measure 9cm x 12.2cm. Run this through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the large framed rectangle die foe the frame
  4. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to measure 8.7cm x 11.9cm. Use your Blending Brush and Tahitian Tide ink to create a soft blu background
  5. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to measure 8.7cm x 5cm. Use your paper snips to cut out a curved edge for the tree and snowman to sit on. Glue this to the base of the Tahitian Tide background layer
  6. Die cut the tree out of Old Olive card stock and glue it to the left hand side at the top of the Basic White curved layer
  7. Stamp the Snowman in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp the eyes, nose and lips on his face using the same Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink. Use the coordinating Die to cut him out
  8. Stamp the hat and scarf in Orchid Oasis on a piece of Basic White card stock. Use the coordinating Dies to cut them out. Glue them to your snowman
  9. Die cut the twigs for arms from a piece of Basic Black card stock. Glue them to your snowman
  10. Adhere the snowman to the left hand side in front of the tree using Dimensionals
  11. Using one of the three stars only, stamp the stars one at a time in Starry Sky ink on the right top of the scene
  12. Cut a window sheet to measure 8.7cm x 11.9cm and adhere to the back of the frame using Tear n' Tape
  13. Place foam adhesive strip all the way around the outside of the frame on the back side
  14. Place some white and silver sequins form the For Everything Fancy Sequins in the centre of the background layer, pull off the backing layer of the foam adhesive strips and adhere to the background layer
  15. Glue the shaker to the front of the card
  16. on a piece of Starry Sky card stock measuring 0.8cm x 9cm stamp the sentiment in Versamark™ ink, sprinkle with white embossing powder and set with the heat tool. Use Tear n' Tape to adhere this to the base of the shaker.

I love my little shaker card and hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you get crafty this week.
