Colour INKspiration #135

Hello and welcome to the Colour INKspiration #135 Challenge.

Twice a month the crew get together to create to a colour palette inspired by an image chosen by a crew team member. This months image below was chosen by lovely crew member Lou Kitzelman. What a beautiful Christmas image!

The crew would love you to join us for one of the challenges! It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Make sure that you answer the joining questions. We can't wait to see what you create with
these gorgeous colours.

When I went to pull the ink and card stock for this colour challenge I saw a lot of card stock scraps in my stash. So I decided to create a card with these left over pieces that I often look over or discard. A great way to use this left over pieces at Christmas time. And so that you can make way for more card stock in the future 😉. I also made a little tag with the left over piece of the leftovers!! See bottom image.

  1. Start with a Thick White card stock card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and folded in half
  2. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to measure 8cm x 6.5cm to glue your strips onto
  3. Cut 8 1cm x 6cm strip of all the colour challenge card stock and glue these to the 8cm x 6.5cm piece of white card stock
  4. Run a 25cm piece of the gold trim around the centre of this piece twice securing at the back. Glue this to the card front
  5. Stamp the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. Die cut with the die from Seasonal Labels Dies. Secure to the card front using Dimensionals
  6. Tie a 15cm piece of gold trim in a bow and secure to the right of the sentiment layer using Glue Dots™
  7. Die cut two of the small poinsettias from gold foil and secure to the card front with Dimensionals or glue as in images

Enough left over for a simple tag!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.
I hope you are enjoying all the festiveness of the season this year!
