Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for September.

This month we are sharing projects created using a Tic-Tac-Toe guide. I am a strong advocate for these challenges as they are an excellent way to stimulate creativity and provide a sense of direction. I always begin with a colour, and green is a personal favourite. I was drawn to Mossy Meadow for my card.

I have been spending a lot of time creating with our new Hot Foil System. It truly is a wonderful way to create. I chose the Graceful Evergreen Deer and the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies for my card.

For my project, I went with Green, Shine and Twine. I’m a big fan of our linen thread and twines—they’re such an easy way to add a bow to your projects! Linen Thread or Twine is not excessively thick or overwhelming on the project. .

My card base is Mossy Meadow. I used the softly woven 3-D embossing folder on a Matt layer of Mossy Meadow card stock. I glued the embossed layer to the card base.

I cut a Basic Beige piece of card stock and then stamped some of the trees in Mossy Meadow ink across this piece of card stock. I tore the top of another piece of Basic Beige card stock that measured the same as the previous width of Basic Beige card stock. I used wink of Stella to give this piece some shimmer, like snow. I then glued it to the bottom of the tree layer. I also used Wink of Stella to give some shimmer to the trees. I’m a big fan of using Wink of Stella to give my projects that extra sparkle!

I used Gold Foil to create the sentiment and star with the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies. I also used Gold Foil for the deer from the Graceful Evergreen Deer Hot Foil Dies. I tied a length of Linen Thread in a bow and adhered it to the right hand side of the trees and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment on top. The deer was adhered to the left of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used a Glue Dot™ to adhere the gold star from the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies. I used a Glue Dot™ to adhere the gold star from the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies. I find the Hot Foil System to be a highly enjoyable creative process. I’m really hoping you get a chance to use this system to bring some projects to life!
