Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Technique Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspiratiins Blog Hop for March 2026. 

This month we are creating projects with the Eclipse Technique. I don’t remember if I have tried this technique before. So it was lots of  fun and so easy to do. 

The Layers of Beauty Bundle and Masks were perfect for this challenge. And I have to say it is such a favourite of mine due to the masks. The results are just gorgeous and I have only used two different inks and Blending Brushes for the design. If you haven’t used a mask or tried the eclipse technique I hope you now try one or both!!

 

The card base is Petunia Pop and the mat masked layer Basic White. Petunia Pop and Old Olive were my chosen ink colours for the bloom. Incredible that with Blending Brushes you can create many depths of colour. 

After creating the bloom I used a Perennial Postage Die to die create the Eclipse Technique. I placed the die cut on top of my bloom centrally and ran it through the Cut & Emboss Machine.

I glued the mat layer with the bloom to the card base. I tied a length of the Bubble Bath ribbon in a double bow and secured it to the centre of the die cut on the mat layer. I adhered the die cut piece using Dimensionals. Stamping the sentiment in Petunia Pop ink on Basic White card stock end used my Paper Trimmer to trim around sentiment. Adhering using Dimensionals and glue. I adhered 6 of the Petunia Pop Flat Pearls around the bloom.
