Colour INKspiration #206

Hello friends and welcome to Colour INKspiration #206.
This challenges gorgeous inspiration image was chosen by crew member Vicki Boucher.

This beautiful image is perfect for Easter. I have had the Nature's Symphony Bundle in my stash for a few weeks and I was desperate to use it. I love the beautiful large leaf die! So I have made a masculine themed card with the beautiful leaf die showing some variegation in the leaf using Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce.

The card base and first mat layer are Gray Granite. The Basic White mat layer was embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D embossing Folder. The Embossed layer was glued to the Gray Granite mat layer before using Dimensionals to adhere to the card base.

I used Blending Brushes on a Basic White card piece creating a two tone blended piece of card. I put the large leaf die over the top of the ink blended piece carefully so to show both colours when die cutting.

I die cut the rectangular wood piece in Gray Granite card stock and glued it to the right side of the embossed layer. I adhered the leaf die cut piece over the top of the wood piece using Dimensionals. I tied a length of the Gray Granite Baker's Twine in a bow and adhered it to the leaf stem using glue.

I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink on Basic White card stock, trimmed it and adhered it on top of the leaf using Dimensionals.

Quite a simple card really and I do so enjoy blending ink with Blending Brushes. The result is really beautiful but different every time.

I hope you will look at all the projects from the Colour INKspiration Crew in the #CI206 Album on our   Facebook page. There are some amazing and inspirational projects there.

Thanks for stopping by today. You are appreciated!
