Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop -Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for March 2026.

This month we have a colour challenge to share with you. The below image is inspiration and perfect for Easter projects. We were challenged to use 3-5 of the colours. I have used four.

Azure Afternoon, Darling Duckling, Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green.

I wanted to create something for Easter and have used the sweet Easter Basket Bundle to create a card for a mature person. I have used the basket and the beautiful Daffodils as my central image. These dies are amazing and easy to work with.

I wanted a happy and sunny card and Darling Duckling as the mat layer. The card base is Basic White and the Mat layer a piece of the Darling Duckling In Colour Designer Series Paper glued to the card base. I then cut a Basic White layer using one of the Textured Notes Dies and used a Blending Brush and some Azure Afternoon ink to colour the area behind where the basket would be positioned.

I die cut the Basket, strips to weave and edge scallop in Basic White card stock. After weaving the strips I glued them on the back of the basket before gluing the scallop trim. I adhered this to the Textured Notes layer using Dimensionals and left room at the top of the basket to adhere the daffodils.

For the daffodils and the bow I used Stampin' Blends to colour Basic White card stock before die cutting each of the pieces in Darling Duckling, Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green. On the bow I used the Dark Pretty in Pink Blend to give dimension to the bow. The daffodils were glued together and a Dimensional used to adhere behind the flower and glued under the edge of the basket. The bow adhered using a Dimensional.

I stamped the sentiment using Azure Afternoon ink on Basic White card stock and punched it out using the Three Banner Punch. I coloured another piece of Basic White card stock using the Azure Afternoon ink and a blending brush. I punched this out using the same shape as the sentiment banner. I glued them together.

I tied a length of Linen Thread in a bow and adhered it to the right hand side of the basket using Sealᐩ then adhered the sentiment layers over the top using Dmensionals.

Up next on this months blog hop is the wonderful Mo Rootes. Click on the next blog below to continue hopping to see everyone's projects using this gorgeous colour palette.
