StampingInkspirations Blog Hop - Colour Challenge and CAS!

This month we have a Clean and Simple (CAS) Colour Challenge using the colours below.

Soft Sea Foam | Old Olive | Gorgeous Grape | Highland Heather | Pecan Pie

What a gorgeous colour palette. I love anything with green in it and always gravitate to stamping flowers. There is something so simple and elegant about the Christmas Greenery stamp set and it lends itself to other occasions too. Who wouldn't enjoy gifting or receiving a bunch of flowers when a thank you is needed.

I have kept the card fairly simple. Remembering how I first enjoyed creating a card when I was gifted my die cutting machine. I wanted to emboss a layer and die cut a label. I loved creating cards so much more when I had my first Big Shot. Projects felt so incredibly stepped up.

The card base and embossed layer are Basic White card stock. I glued the embossed layer to the card base. I die cut a label from the Traditional Labels dies to centre the stamped image and sentiment.This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals. 

 I stamped the bouquet in Pecan Pie ink and used the other stamps in the set to colour the bouquet leaves, flowers and bow using the colour palette.  So easy using this stamp set. I die cut the bouquet before adhering to the left hand side of the label using Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Banner Sayings Bundle an online exclusive in Pecan Pie ink and used the coordinating punch to cut it out. I used the punch to cut another banner using Highland Heather card stock. I stuck the Highland Heather label behind the sentiment and used Dimensionals too adhere  it to the right hand side of the bouquet. Then three pearls were placed around the central layer on the Plaid embossed matt layer.
