Colour INKspiration #200

Hello friends and a big welcome to Colour INKspiration #200!!

What a fantastic achievement for our little team of wonderful stampers who love to inspire you at Colour INKspiration Challenges. But just as importantly, all of you who follow us and join in for some of the challenges. I have to say the crew love it when you join us for one of our challenges. If you haven't joined us yet perhaps now is the time as you can use your favourite colour. Isn't that fun!

I can't believe that I have been part of the Colour INKspiration Crew since CI#49. That was 151 Challenges ago and 151 projects ago. Wow! I love being part of this wonderful group of people. Thanks to Lou Kitzelman and Bronwyn Eastley for their leadership and all the other crew who I now call friends. We love to catch up at the Stampin' Up! ® Events and spend time together.

Well,.......My favourite colour is constantly changing. It is usually between the blues and greens. I love that our colour range is constantly changing to keep up with current colour trends. And, that we usually have a new blue, green or both in the In Colour range.

At the moment I keep including Secret Sea in my projects. If you know me you will often see I am wearing Navy or something with a blue and white stripe. I adore a striped shirt. So I have teamed my Secret Sea with the newish Willow White and Gold Foil for a fresh look.

I decided that it was best to create a Christmas Card as it is that time of year. The Traditions of Christmas Suite is such a favourite of mine so I decided to create with it again. The delicate blooms and traditional labels work so well together. I have used the Willow White card stock for a brighter white. Have you used this beautiful card stock yet?

The Secret Sea Ribbon I have used has just arrived in my preorder for the Mini Catalogue that starts in January. You can use the Secret Sea Faux Linen Ribbon currently available in the Annual Catalogue. I didn't have any on hand at the moment and it will look just as nice.

My card base and mat layer is Secret Sea and the White layer Willow White card stock . The Secret Sea Strip at the side is from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I love the freshness of the blue and white together.

I stamped the floral image in Secret Sea ink on Willow White card stock and die cut it with the coordinating die. I die cut two sprigs in Willow White and Two in Gold Foil as well as two leaves in Vellum to layer around the stamped image and other pieces using glue dots and glue to adhere to the card front. I have not made this layered card high on the front as it will be posted out for Christmas.

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark™ink on Secret sea card stock, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I die cut using a coordinating die before adhering it on top of the blooms using dimensionals.

I tied a length of the Secret Sea Ribbon in a bow and adhered it to the card front using Glue Dots™. The final touch was adhering three of the gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins around the bloom.

I hope you feel like joining us for this incredible landmark achievement. And, I hope to have inspired you too.

Thanks for stopping by!!
