Colour INKspiration #199

Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #199!

We have a festive colour palette for you this challenge. I truly love these three colours together. They would be my choice of Christmas colours for projects.

Inspiration image chosen by crew member Vicki Boucher.

Once I had the ink pads out for this challenge I could see my project using the Traditions of Christmas Suite from page 21 in the Mini Catalogue. I love this suite and all the creative ways you can use the products. I can't stop using it!

My card base is Shaded Spruce and the matt layer embossed using the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder was also Shaded Spruce. I used Shaded Spruce ink and a Blending Brush to give the matt layer some dimension. The embossed layer is glued to the card base.

I die cut the Cherry Cobbler DSP with a label from the Traditional Labels Dies. Adhering it to the front of the card using Dimensionals.

I die cut the holly leaves and berries is Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler and the sprigs in Pecan Pie. I added some Shaded Spruce ink to the  edges of the holly leaves using a Blending Brush.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark™ink on Basic Black card stock. I sprinkled with white embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool. I die cut it using the coordinating die. I adhered the sentiment to the front of the label using Dimensionals.

I adhered the holly leaves, berries and sprigs around the sentiment layer using glue. The final touch was a double Linen Thread Bow glued to the right hand side of the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you join us for this Challenge!
