Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Colour Challenge and/or CAS

Welcome to the November Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop.

This month we have a fabulous image and colour palette for our colour challenge.

Crushed Curry, Early Espresso,Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Azure Afternoon.

We were challenged to use at least three colours from the colour palette and/or a Clean and Simple Card. I selected all but the Azure Afternoon in the colour palette.

Deciding what to use for this colour challenge was easy. I took inspiration from the challenge image above. I have had the gorgeous Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks and hadn't created anything with the beautiful blooms that are part of the masks.

The blooms are created by using Blending Brushes and ink on the masks. I blended on Basic White card stock using all the colours I selected. The flower centres are Crumb Cake then Early Espresso on top. The petals Crushed Curry and leaves Granny Apple Green. I fussy cut the leaves and flowers.

The card base is Crumb Cake and the mat layer of Basic White embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. The crosshatch design works well with so many things. The Burlap ribbon was adhered across the front of the embossed layer and secured at the back of the embossed layer before this layer was adhered to the card front using glue.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink on Basic White card stock before being cut out using one of the Countryside Corners Dies. The blooms and leaves were arranged and adhered to the left hand side of the die cut entiment layer. I adhered the sentiment layer to the card front using Dimensionals.

I then glued three white Adhesive Backed Sequins around the sentiment.

Up next on our blog hop is the talented Tricia Butts.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope the team and I have inspired you to create something with this colour palette. Have a great week!
