Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for November.
Each month a group of creative friends create a project for a theme. Below is an image of all of the crew and where they are from around the globe. Such a talented and wonderful group of people.
This month we have a colour challenge. We were also challenged to use the colours we see in the image below. This was really fun to doo and I cannot wait to see the teams projects!! What a gorgeous image of the Eiffel Tower.
I chose Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie, Pebbled path and Balmy Blue as my colour palette.
The Trucking Along Bundle came to mind with this colour palette and I started creating with the Pumpkin Pie spotty Designer Series Paper from the Brights Collection. I love this DSP's fun prints. A great addition to my stash. The card base and mat layer is Pumpkin Pie. The DSP is glued to the mat layer. Then the Burlap ribbon is adhered across the front before adhering to the card base.
I stamped the truck in Memento Tuxedo Black ink before stamping the inside of image in Wild Wheat. Then punched it out. I stamped the wooden sides at the back of the truck in Pebbled Path before fussy cutting them. I have used the largest stitched square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies cut out in Basic White card stock as my central background layer. I stamped the clouds three times in Balmy Blue across the top before adhering the truck and wooden sides using Dimensionals.
I then cut a square in Pumpkin Pie slightly larger than the die cut stitched square and glued the stamped layer to it and set aside to dry before adhering to the front of the card.
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark™ink on Basic Black card stock then sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. Use the heat tool to set the sentiment. Then cut it out using the banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere to the card front below the truck using Dimensionals.
