I set out wanting to create a Christmas card with this beautiful colour palette. Products from the Joy of Christmas Suite were the first products in my shopping basket from the Mini Catalogue. So, I felt it was time to bring them out for this project.
I have used a Basic White card base. I stamped thre two patterned stamps in Fresh Freesia either side of where the sentiment sits and then Embossed the Basic White mat layer using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. Then glued it to the card base.
On another piece of Basic White card stock I used blending brushes to blend the the Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape ink from lightest to darkest before cutting four sprigs from the Joy of Noel Dies. The lightest, Fresh Freesia is at the top of the sprig.
I stamped the sentiment on Basic White card stock using Cherry Cobbler ink before cutting it out using the die from the Christmas Classics dies. I also cut out the surrounding detailed piece in Vellum. I glued the sentiment layer top the vellum. Then cutting a 25cm length of the Silver and White ribbon before tieing it in a bow and adhering to the centre of the card front using a GlueDot™ laying across the stamped images. I glued the sprigs to the opposite side of the area around the sentiment, two sprigs on each side.
I used Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment layer before gluing 12 of the Loose Silver Sequins around the outside of the card.
Thanks for stopping by to read my post today. I hope our colour palette inspires you as well. We would love you to join us for a chalenge too. Have a great day!
