Colour INKspiration #187

Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #187

This challenge we are using three of the new In Colours! These colours are simply gorgeous. 

I have created my card using the Thankful Garden Bundle and teamed it with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. 

The card base and embossed Damask Designs layer are Secret Sea card stock. The hydrangea stamped in Black then using blending brushes to colour the bloom in Timid Tiger and Strawberry Slush. The leaves in Secret Sea. 

I coloured a piece of white card stock lightly with a blending brush and Secret Sea ink before die cutting with the leaf die twice. The bloom and leaves adhered with Dimensionals. A double bow in Linen Thread was adhered to the right hand side of the bloom. The sentiment stamped in Versamark™ ink on Secret Sea card stock. I then sprinkled some white Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool before die cutting using a small Nested Essential die. I adhered it to the top of the bow using Dimensionals. The card was completed by placing three Secret Sea Flat Pearls around the bloom.

Colour INKspiration #186

Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #186!

This challenge we are saying farewell to the 2023-2025 In Colours. These have been some of my favourite In Colours due to the earthiness of the colours. We were challenged to showcase our favourites but I have used all 5. It is always lovely to see the lovely new colours come along and this years In Colours are just as beautiful.

I started out creating for this challenge by using one of my favourite Bundles that is retiring soon. The Country Flowers Bundle. I have teamed it with some products that are also retiring. I love the Copper Clay Plaid paper from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper. Perfect for my background layer.

The card base is Copper Clay. The Designer series paper  was roughed with scissors at the edges. I stamped some of the splodges from the Elements of Text stamp set in Copper Clay and used blending brushes and Copper Clay ink to darken the edges giving depth. I then ran this piece of DSP through the Stamp & Emboss Machine using the Timber 3 D Embossing Folder. before gluing to the card front.

The Perennial Postage die cut was the perfect background for the main images in Copper Clay

 I stamped the feature images in Memento ™Tuxedo Black ink before using all the In Colour Stampin' Blends to colour then die cut before arranging them on the Postage layer. I layer two lengths of the Gold Ribbon across the card front and secured with Glue dots before adhering the top layers using Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark™ ink on Pebbled Path card stock.Sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. It was then cut with scissors before being adhered to the card front using Mini Dimensionals. I then adhered six of the Copper ClayShimmer Gems to complete my card.
