Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Team Blog Hop - March

Hello and welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Team Blog Hop!

I have created a card using the Bonanza Buddies Suite and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies this month.

I have made a frame for this card front using the Stitched So Sweetly Die to emboss the edge of the frame and then used my Stampin' Trimmer to cut out the rectangle. So easy with the new Stampin' Up!® Trimmer! 

I then cut a 10cm x 14.4 cm piece of the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper and glued it to a Whisper White card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half. I glued the frame layer to the card base.

I stamped the Lion, Balloons and Banner from the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set and Die cut them using the  coordinating Bonanza Dies.

I glued the Banner at the top. I popped up the Balloons using dimensionals then assembled the Lion and popped him up with dimensionals at the edge of the frame. I cut three lengths of the Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine and glued then to the back of the balloons and secured them with Double Sided Tape behind the Lion.

I stamped the sentiment from the Label Me Bold Stamp set and popped this up using demensionals to the left hand side of the card. I then placed three Calypso Coral Iridescent Sequins to the eft of the Balloon to set off my card.

Colour INKspiration #73

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today!

It was time for another fun Colour Inspiration Challenge.

The inspiration photo below is just beautiful and reminds me of a trip we made to the Barossa in South Australia earlier this year. The little cottage we stayed in overlooked vineyards and a field of stunning lavender.

The sweet Honey Bee Bundle and this was the perfect stamp set to showcase the beautiful colours for this challenge.

I started with  Thick Whisper White Card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half.

I then cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 14.4cm x 10cm. I cut a piece of the Black and White Striped Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper to measure 14.4 cmx 3.8cm. Then I glued the DSP to the left hand side of the mat piece of Whisper White and then glued these layers to the card base.

I cut one a pice of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I then Cut a piece of the Whisper White to measure 8.6 cm x 6.6 cm. On this piece I stamped the Beehive in So Saffron. I then used my Stampartus to then stamp the flower stems using the Mossy Meadow and Highland Heather Stampin' Write Markers. I then coloured the Flowers in using the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends.

I stamped the Bee in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink and cut it out with the corresponding die. I popped this up on the hive using dimensionals. I used more dimensionals to secure the stamped yardstick on top of the Stitched so sweetly die cut piece of Whisper White. Then glued these layers to the card base.

I stamped the Sentiment in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink below the stamped card stock. I then placed three Clear Epoxy Droplets on the hive and next to to the sentiment to complete the card.

Eco Conscious Crafting Blog Hop - February

Hello and Welcome to my Eco Conscious blog post!

I wanted to make a special gift to thank a very dear friend.

My gift fit inside the Bird Ballad Tin and I created a sweet tag to go with the tin!

I have used the Free as  a Bird Bundle to create the coordinating tag.

The tag was created using Very Vanilla card stock that  I had pre cut and left over from a recent class.

I stamped the bird, leaves and flower in Crumb Cake on the scrap Very Vanilla card stock, coloured in with the Stampin' Blends  and fussy cut them with my paper snips.

I glued the bird. leaves and flowers to the bottom of the tag then stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake on the tag. I used the Braided Linen Trim to tie the tag around the tin to complete my gift.

Colour INKspiration #72

Hello and welcome to the Colour INKspiration #CI72 challenge!

The colours for this challenge are stunning! And I think they will work with most stamp sets too. I hope you join in on the challenges with us. We love seeing what everyone comes up with!

I have used the Sale-A-Bration items called Thoughtful Blooms and the Small Bloom Punch for this challenge.

I started with a Calypso Coral card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half. I have then cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 10cm x 4.4cm and the Calypso coral Designer Series Paper to 9.8cm x 14.2cm. I glued the DSP to the Whisper White Matt layer.

Used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out the two labels in Whisper White. Stamping the sentiment from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set in Pretty Peacock.

I cut a piece if the versatile Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Coloured it with the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend. Such a great technique to get the perfectly matching ribbon for your project. I placed this around the DSP and Whisper White card stock layer and secured it to the back using tape.

I stamped the floral and greenery images in all the colours for this challenge. Punched out the flowers and fussy cut the rest. Then I set about arranging thee flowers and leaves using glue and dimensionals to adhere. I placed a Calypso Coral Happiness Blooms enamel dot in the centre of the flowers. I also placed 3 Pretty Peacock sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment around the sentiment.

I tied some more of the Calypso Coral ribbon around the right hand side of the sentiment and then tied a bow with the Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine.

I love this colourful card. I really love the gingham DSP too!
