Around the World on Wednesday - Fun Fold with a Technique

Hello and welcome to the last Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for 2025.

It has been a wonderful year hopping with these lovely creatives who are also friends now. Below is and image of where we all live around the world.

This month we have a dual challenge. A fun fold with a technique. And we are CASeing the amazing Tina Zinck - MacDonald. She is such a creative and talented lady. I love her YouTube channel. Such a great source of inspiration and her teaching style is wonderful too.

I tried a new Fun Fold this time called a Front Panel Stepper Card. You can watch Tina's presentation and instructions here. I created the card using her measurements and it was incredibly easy to follow and create. It looks difficult but is truly the easiest and most fun way of creating a card. I will definitely be using this template to create another fun fold. Thanks for the inspiration Tina!

You can watch her YouTube presentation here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClSonAf2bqI

You can see in my CASe that I have used coordinating products from the Traditions of Christmas Suite. Cherry Cobbler card stock for the card base and Cherry Cobbler ink for the sentiment on the back.  The Designer Series Paper measurements are as instructed by Tina.

The white panel is partially embossed using the Traditional Wreath 3D embossing folder before adhering the die cut blooms from the DSP. I glued the DSP with the bloom on another piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock before die cutting to give it strength as it is adhered using Dimensionals. I tied a length of the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon in a knot and glued it to the White Panel before adhering the sentiment on top using glue and Dimensionals. Three gold sequins surround the bloom and sentiment.

My technique for this card was a very simple one. I used Old Olive Stampin' Blends to colour some Vellum card stock. A simple way to add some gentle colour to your card. I die cut the sprigs from the coordinating die and adhered them to each end of the bloom using GlueDots™. A simple, but effective technique.

The back of the card has a white panel that is glued to a piece of DSP the same size. As per Tina's instructions. This panel is glued to the back left hand side panel only. So that the DSP shows through to the front of the card. The sentiment is stamped on the back and two thin strips adhered to each side to complete the card.

Up next on this months blog hop is the wonderful Rochelle Laird-Smith. I am sure you will enjoy everyone's Fun Fold with a Technique cards this month CASeing Tina Zinck-MacDonald.
