Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for August.
This month we are using the Spotlight Technique to create your card. I love this technique and have created my card using the wonderful Floral Charm Designer Series Paper. I have only stamped the sentiment as this DSP is just so beautiful and I chose to spotlight a beautiful floral piece.
The card base and matt layer is in Night of Navy card stock. I cut a piece of the DSP slightly smaller than the matt layer and use Night of Navy ink and a Blending Brush to darker the edges for some depth. I glued this to the matt layer and adhered both to the card front using Dimensionals.
The floral piece was punched using the 2 1/4 Punch and a piece of Night of Navy card stock was punched using the 2 3/8 circle punch. Gluing the floral piece to the Night of Navy piece and then using Dimensionals to adhere it to the bottom left of the card front.
I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ™on Night of Navy card stock. Sprinkled it with white embossing powder and set with the Heat Toll before using scissors to trim close to the letters. I adhered a length of Gold Linen Thread that was available when making this project (It is no longer available and Line Thread would work as well) to the bottom of the sentiment in a double blow and adhered the sentiment using Dimensionals. The final touch were three of the Night of Navy Charming Shimmer Adhesive Dots.
