This months inspiration image was chosen by crew member Cathy Pinchbeck.

The Rocking Horse Bundle was a favourite from the Mini Catalogue. I love all the sweet dies. The Teddy and the blocks in particular. I saw the bundle as not just a christmas stamp set but perfect for babies and toddlers too.

I have used the Deckled Edge Rectangles for my Basic White background layer on top of the Balmy Blue card base and the Balmy Blue Designer Series Paper.

The Rocking Horse was stamped in Pecan Pie ink then coloured with the Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. Lighter blend for the body and the darker blend for the mane, tail and saddle detail. I coloured the saddle in with the Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend before die cutting the saddle in Balmy Blue card stock and gluing it in place. I die cut the decorative base of the rocking horse in Pecan Pie card stock before gluing it in place. You can see the coloured Pecan Pie peeking through which looks good and gives dimension. The rocking horse was adhered to the top of the Deckled Rectangle using Dimensionals.

The Teddy was cut out of Basic White card stock coloured with the Pecan Pie Blends prior to cutting. This gives the teddy a lighter shade of Pecan Pie to contarast against the rocking horse. The bow and blocks were cut out of Petal Pink and Balmy Blue card stock. Those little blocks are so cute! I adhered these with glue and Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink on Balmy Blue card stock before cutting it out with a die from the Something Fancy Dies. I cut a similar length piece of the Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon and glued it to the bottom of the sentiment before using Dimensionals to adhere to the right hand side of the card.

Thank you for visiting my blog post today. You are appreciated.
