Hello and welcome to the Colour INKspiration #67! Crew Blog Hop!

You may have arrived here from the amazing Lou Kitzelman! How gorgeous is her creation!

We are so pleased to have Karen Hadler and Siobhan Fitzsimmons as Guest Designers for this challenge. Make sure you visit their blog posts for this challenge too!

We have another pretty colour combination this challenge. I hope that you join in some of our challenges at some stage. It is a great way to get your creativity happening!

You can find out more on our Facebook page here

I have recently purchased the Very Versailles stamp set and have not had a chance to use it until now. I have created a simple Thank You card for someone special.

I used a Balmy Blue card base measuring 21cm x 10.5 cm scored and folded in half. I then cut another measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and glued this to the base.
I cut a piece of Pacific point to 10.5cm x 8cm.

I then created the Balmy Blue frame using the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D embossing folder.

I cut a pice of Whisper White card stock to 7cm x 9.5cm and ran it through my Big Shot™ using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. Then popped the Frame over this piece using dimensionals. Then attached the Pacific Point layer to the base using more dimensionals.

I stamped the image behind the sentiment in Pacific Blue on Whisper white and fussy cut it out. I popped this up on dimensionals on the Whisper White layer.

I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot on Whisper White and cut it out with the Stitched Label Die small stitched circle. I also cut a piece of Pear Pizazz using a small layering circle die. I glued these two layers together and adhered to the Pacific Point image layer.

  5. This is so elegant, Leonie, and quite different to anything else I've seen with that stamp set. Keeping the colour palette simple means all those layers work beautifully together and the focus is on that lovely stamp in the centre. Thank you for haivng me along as a guest with this hop, it's been a fun challenge!
