I have recently purchased the Very Versailles stamp set and have not had a chance to use it until now. I have created a simple Thank You card for someone special.
I used a Balmy Blue card base measuring 21cm x 10.5 cm scored and folded in half. I then cut another measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and glued this to the base.
I cut a piece of Pacific point to 10.5cm x 8cm.
I then created the Balmy Blue frame using the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D embossing folder.
I cut a pice of Whisper White card stock to 7cm x 9.5cm and ran it through my Big Shot™ using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. Then popped the Frame over this piece using dimensionals. Then attached the Pacific Point layer to the base using more dimensionals.
I stamped the image behind the sentiment in Pacific Blue on Whisper white and fussy cut it out. I popped this up on dimensionals on the Whisper White layer.
I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot on Whisper White and cut it out with the Stitched Label Die small stitched circle. I also cut a piece of Pear Pizazz using a small layering circle die. I glued these two layers together and adhered to the Pacific Point image layer.

Very Versailles is one of my top favourites and I like how you've given it this clean look. Also fabulous the way you've made so many layers still look clean and fresh. Love this elegant creation, Leonie.ReplyDelete

Thank you Lou! I feel it is a timeless stamp set and you will love it xxDelete
This is so elegant, Leonie, and quite different to anything else I've seen with that stamp set. Keeping the colour palette simple means all those layers work beautifully together and the focus is on that lovely stamp in the centre. Thank you for haivng me along as a guest with this hop, it's been a fun challenge!ReplyDelete
Thank you Siobhan! I love the decal like stamp at the centre of my card too. Thank you for joining us with your beautiful creation xDelete
