Hello and welcome to my blog!
It is just wonderful to be part of Kelly's Stamping Friends Birthday Blog Hop!
I have made a birthday card using the gorgeous Free As A Bird stamp set. This stamp set will be available from June 4, 2019 in the new Annual Catalogue. It is the prettiest stamp set and I could not wait to add it to my collection.
I have started with a card base of Whisper White 21cm x 13.8cm scored and folded in half.
I have then cut another Whisper White mat measuring 9.7cm x 13.2cm.
I then created a frame from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits™ by positioning the largest die and the second larges die on a piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot™.
I cut a piece of the beautiful Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to measure 9.3cm x 12.8cm.
I stamped the bird and the end of the brach in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with the Stampin' Blends. I fussy cut both of these images.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Botanical Bliss stamp set in Versa Mark™on the Basic Black card stock. I then sprinkled it with the White Heat Emboss Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I cut it out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelit™.
I carefully glued the branch between the frame and the DSP layer with glue. I glued the rest of the frame down to the DSP. I glued the bird to the top of the branch and the sentiment layer to the right hand side of the frame and then glued the right side of the branch to that. Then I glued that to the Whisper White mat layer and then the card base.
Finally, I glued the 3 pink iridescent sequins to the DSP.
