Around the World on Wednesday - Five Years Around the World on Wednesday

Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for April. This months we have been hopping for 5 years! It has been a lot of fun creating with this design team and we truly hope you feel inspired by us. Below is an image of where we all live around the globe. 

To celebrate we have been challenged to CASe one of the lovely people instrumental in getting this Blog Hop off the ground. That lovely person is Anne Marie Hile. Follow Anne on Instagram using @stampin_anne.

I set about this challenge by choosing a stamp set first and then looked at Anne's gorgeous projects until one caught my eye that would be perfect. I chose the Textured Notes Bundle and products from the coordinating suite. Below is the beautiful card I have CASed. The coordinating Woven Textures Designer Series Paper worked so well for the background and honoured the card that Anne made. I love the gentleness of Anne's card.

I started with a Mossy Meadow card base. I cut the matt layer from the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. The die cut layer was cut from the same DSP using the Textured notes dies. 

I stamped the smaller leaf branch in Mossy Meadow ink on the die cut DSP. I then stamped the larger leaf image in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of the same DSP and fussy cut it before adhering it to the top of the other stamped image using Dimensionals. I let it overhang the side of the die cut rectangle.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark™ink on Mossy Meadow card stock. Then sprinkled with white Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I die cut this with another die from the Textured notes Dies. I cut a length of Linen Thread and tied it in a double bow and adhered it to the back of the sentiment and secured it using a GlueDot™. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Dimensionals. I resisted the urge to embellish anymore as I feel this card would work as it is for both men and women alike.
