Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #174!

The amazing crew have some wonderful projects to share with you this month using the beautiful colour palette below. So pretty!! This months colour palette was chosen by crew member Vicki Boucher.

I love this beautiful image and the colour palette is one of my favourites. Of course I have stamped flowers with these pretty colours. I have used the Stippled Roses Bundle and stamped, coloured and die cut the smaller single rose image and leaf image.

The Basic White mat layer was embossed using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a smaller piece of Basic White card stock and embossed it with one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders. I coloured it using a Blending Brush and Pool Party ink after I embossed it. The raised embossed areas are darker if done this way. A great look. I glued it to the card front.

The blooms and leaves were stamped in Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink and then coloured using Stampin' Blends. There are no Gorgeous Grape Stampin' Blends so I coloured one of the roses with the Gorgeous Grape Water Colour Pencil from  assortment 2 then Blended it with the Highland Heather Stampin' Blend. This seemed to work well and blended the colours nicely. The blooms and leaves were cut out using the coordinating dies. Then arranging them and adhering to the right hand side of the card.

I cut some of the detailed leaves out using the dies and arranged them under the blooms using glue dots to adhere. I tied a length of Linen Thread across the lower third of the blooms securing at then back and tying a double bow on the right hand side. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on Basic White card stock and adhered it to the top of the Linen Thread using Dimensionals. Five of the Pool Party Glossy Dots were the final touch for my card.
