Hello and welcome to the Colour INKspiration #CI71 challenge!
How beautiful is this inspiration photo. So pretty!
I have been enjoying watercoloring lately. I have found it difficult to get in the craft room due to the oppressive heat and humidity. I don't have an air conditioner and we all know that paper crafts and a fan don't work well together.
I have chosen the Peaceful Moment dies to create my card. These dies are truly magnificent. I die cut the images out of Fluid 100 watercolour card stock then coloured them in with the ink and an Aqua painter. You can work out colours used in the list of inks used below.
I also cut one of the poppy outline flowers out in Vellum and used the Highland Heather ink and the Aqua painter to colour. This gives such a softness of colour to my project. I laid this layer between the flower base and watercolored flower centres.
I arranged this on top of a piece of Shimmery white card stock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. I tied the Linen thread before securing the floral spray with gleaned dimensionals.
I then glued this to a Grey Granite card base measuring 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half.
I stamped the sentiment from the Label Me Bold Stamp Set in Memento™Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut it out. Adhering with dimensionals to complete the card.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog post today. I really appreciate you stopping by.
Have a lovely week!
