Colour INKspiration #70

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am so happy to be part of this very special challenge. Today marks three years since the Colour INKspiration Challenges began. I loved looking at the Crews blogs and admired their amazing work. I then entered the challenges prior to being asked to be part of the crew.  It has been just over a year since I became part of the crew and these girls are all amazingly talented and beautiful ladies.

You may have come here from Cathy Pinchbeck!

The theme for this special hop is Birthday's and we were able to choose our colours!  I have chosen Night Of Navy, Melon Mambo and Whisper White. We would love you to play along with us for this challenge by choosing your own colours or use the colours someone from the design team has used. It should be fun to play along with your favourite colours. I can't wait to see what has been created by the challenge participants. The challenge will run for one month.

I decided to make a Birthday card with a friend in mind. I have used the Tea together stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue.

I stamped the Teapot in Night of Navy on Shimmery White card stock then used my aqua painter to create the navy stripes. I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo on Shimmer White card stock and again used my aqua painter to colour. I used the coordinating Tea Time dies to die cut the images. I also cut the leaves off the flowers for this card.

I embossed a piece of Shimmery White card stock measuring 9.8cm x 14.2cm using the Subtles 3D embossing folder. I glued this to another piece of Shimmery White card stock measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. I popped this up on a Night of Navy card base using Dimensionals, the card base measuring 21cm x 14.85cm scored and folded in half.

I placed the Tea Pot with Dimensionlas and attached the flowers with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Bliss stamp set in Versamark™ on Night of Navy card stock and sprinkled on some White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I cut a banner at the end and attached to the card with glue.

Next up is the amazing Nikki Spencer who always has beautiful creations to share  Please click on the next button to go to her blog!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you are enjoying the New Year and if you are in Australia I hope you are not affected by the fires.

Have a great week!
