Colour INKspiration #65

Welcome to the Colour INKspiration Challenge #65!

I love this beautiful inspiration photo for this challenge. Stunning!

I had so many ideas floating around with these colours and actually purchased a stamp set to make my card this time. I am not talking about the stamp set that I actually used as I had chosen another. But in the middle of that creation I was constantly thinking about what I could do with this stamp set instead. I am sure you also have ideas that turn into other creations once realised.

I started with a Blackberry Bliss card base measuring 21cm x14.8cm scored and folded in half. I then added a Merry Merlot layer measuring 10.3cm x 14.5cm and glued this to the card front.

I cut a piece of Gray Granite card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm and embossed this piece with the Sublte 3D Embossing Folder. I love the texture that this adds to card stock.

I stamped the wreath from the Tidings All Around stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Gray Granite card stock. i then cut it out using the coordinating die. I cut out some of the foliage from the die set with Blackberry Bliss and Merry Merlot. I assembled by popping the wreath onto the card using Dimensionals. And glued the foliage in place.

I stamped the hello sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Memento™Black Tuxedo ink and cut it out with the Bouquet Bunch framelit™to create a tag. I tied this on the wreath with a piece of Linen Thread.

I really like how this card turned out and I hope you do to. I love wreaths and find them so versatile to use.
