Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge with Glimmer 'n Shine!

Hello and welcome to the first Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for 2026!

Happy New Year to you and thank you for visiting my blog!

Our first challenge of the year is a fun Sketch Challenge with Glimmer and Shine. I love this sketch and found myself wanting to use something new and fresh for our first hop of the year.

I looked at all my new Mini Catalogue products and was instantly drawn to the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper. One side of each sheet is foil! So there is my Glimmer and Shine. It is hard to photograph the shine, but trust me, it is there and so special.

I have used the Easter Basket Bundle for my card. The sweet designs and vibrant colours from the Suite are just gorgeous. All your Easter projects will shine with this Suite. I am looking forward to using it for some 3D Easter Projects.

I have cut one of the stand alone images from the Designer Series Paper for my card front and two thin strips of the striped foil DSP for the two sides. All pefectly coordinating! Both glued to a Basic White card base.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock using a medium Everyday Arches Die and used this as my base label for the sweet images. I cut off 1cm of the bottom as it was too high for this project. I stamped the flowers in Crumb Cake ink on the left hand side of the die cut and coloured them in using the Stampin' Blends listed at the bottom of my post. I die cut a piece of Shy Shamrock card stock using the grass die and glued it to the bottom of the arched base layer. Then adhered this layer to the card front using Dimensionals.

I stamped the Bunny and carrot in Crumb Cake ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends before die cutting. Then I used Dimensionals to adhere the Bunny to the top right of the arched layer . The carrot was adhered to the top of the Bunny using Dimensionals.

The sentiment strip is Balmy Blue ink on Balmy Blue card stock tucked under the Bunny and adhered with Dimensionals.

I tied a 10cm length of the Balmy Blue Gingham ribbon in a knot and adhered it to the left side of the arch using GlueDots™. Three of the Easter Assortment embellishments were added to the left side of the Bunny. I think they look like Easter Eggs. The final touch was some Wink of Stella on the carrot.

Up next is the lovely Mo Rootes. Click on the next button below for more Glimmer and Shine!
