I have been wanting to use my Leaf Collection stamp and this was the perfect opportunity. I have kept my card simple and resisted the urge to fussy cut the leaves and adhere them to a blended background. This stamp set works beautifully if you stamp in a darker colour before blending ink for the background.
The leaves were stamped in Night of Navy ink and then I used Blueberry Bushel and Misty Moonlight ink and a Blending Brush to colour the background. Leaving lighter areas so that it has some depth and dimension. There is a mat layer of Night of Navy card stock under the front panel and Basic Beige for the card base.
The Spotlight on Nature Dies are the perfect dies for any sentiment with their wonderful edges. I chose a simple embossed edge for my sentiment layer. Stamped in Night of Navy ink on a Basic Beige die cut circle. A punched Night of Navy circle sits behind the die cut circle. I finished off my card with three of the Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems for a little sparkle.
Hope you enjoyed reading how this came together. It was an very easy card to make and could be recreated using many stamp sets and dies.
Have a great week. Thanks for stopping by!
