Daisy Lane Card created for Catalogue Lunch

Hello and welcome to my Blog!

I created this card for my Catalogue Launch last week. It is very similar to the cards I created for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. I wanted to demonstrate that you can use stamps to create your own background paper.

Again I have used the Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating Daisy Punch. Along with the Stitched Nested Label Dies.

The colours that I have chosen are Mango Melody and Mossy Meadow.

The card base is Mango Melody and measures 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half. The next layer is another piece of Mango Melody measuring 14.4cm x 10cm.

The stamped background layer is a piece of Whisper White card stock with randomly stamped daisy and leaf images. I have made these images softer by "stamping off" the ink first. This layer measures 14.1cm x 9.7cm.

I stamped two of the larger daisy images in "stamped off" Mango Melody and punched them out with the coordinating Daisy Punch. I glued them together in the centre of the daisy and used the gorgeous Perennial Essence Floral Centre to take pride of place at the centre of my daisy.

I die cut the second and third largest Stitched Nested Labels In Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment friend in Mossy Meadow on the bottom of the smaller Stitched Nested Label.

I glued the first two layers to my card base. I used dimensionals to pop up both Stitched Nested Labels. And a glue dot to attach the daisy to the top of the label.

Thank you for taking the time to read and visit my blog today.

The Daisy Lane stamp set has two coordinating punches and create the most stunning flowers! The products used to create this card are listed below this blog post.

Colour INKspiration #57

Hello and welcome to my blog post for the Colour INKspiration Crew #57!

You may have arrived here from the amazingly talented Bronwyn Eastley.

Such a happy Colour combination this month. Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. The Lilies in the inspiration photograph below, are stunning!

I have used the sweet image from the Believe You Can hostess stamp set for my card this month. It  looks amazing when paired with the Stitched Nesting Label Dies.

The Daffodil Delight card base measures 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half two create a card front measuring 14.8cm x 10.5cm.

I then cut another piece of the Daffodil Delight card stock to measure 14.4cm x 10cm. I used the Daffodil Delight piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to measure 14.1cm x 9.7cm and glued these two layers together.  I cut a piece of the Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon and secured it half way down on this layer with glue dots and glued these layers to the card base.

I stamped the floral image from the Believe You Can stamp set and the stamped the sentiment "Thank you" in the blank space on Whisper White card stock in Memento™ Tuxedo Black ink.

I coloured the image in using the Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. The TSampin' Blends are so easy to use and create a beautifully coloured image effortlessly.

Using the Stitched Nested Label Dies I die cut the image and then die cut a larger one in Daffodil Delight card stock. I glued them together. I used dimensionals to adhere this layer with the image to the card base over the top of the Textured Weave Ribbon.

I hope you like my colourful card for this Colour INKspiration challenge. It is certainly a colourful card.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop June

Hello and welcome to my Blog!

Today I have created a set of cards for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

I am using the very sweet Daisy Lane Stamp set for these cards. I love a Daisy and they make me feel happy when I see them. So elegant in their simplicity.

I decided to make a set of cards to showcase the new 2019-2021 In Colours. They are just beautiful.

I began with a card base that measures 21cm x 14.8cm scored and folded in half two create a card front measuring 14.8cm x 10.5cm.

I then cut a piece of the coordinating Check In Colour Card stock to measure 14.4cm x 10cm and glued this to the card front.

Using the Stitched Nested label dies I cut one in the same colour yardstick as the card base and one smaller in Whisper White. I then glued the white layer to the top of the In Colour layer.

I then stamped the larger Daisy image from the Daisy Lane twice on Whisper White card stock and punched these out with the coordinating Daisy Punch. and glued them together. I adhered them to the Whisper White die cut with glue.

Stamping the sentiment with Versa Mark™ ink on Basic Black card stock and heat embossing with White Stampin' Emboss Powder using the Heat Tool. Punching the sentiment out with the Classic Label Punch. I adhered this to the Whisper White die cut with Dimensionals.

Three of the coordinating In Colour Woven Threads Sequins were glued to the area around the sentiment. And your card is complete!

Hope you have enjoyed reading how this card came together. I enjoyed making them and love the new In Colours. I am still deciding which one is my favourite, though, it is a tough decision!

Make sure you visit the other demonstrators blogs as they have created some amazing and beautiful projects. Please click on the links below.

Have a fabulous week and I hope that you find some time to be creative

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - Fun/Fancy Fold May 2019

Hello and welcome to another amazing Stampers Showcase Blog Hop.

I just love hopping with these very talented Demonstrators!

I chose to use the fantastic Sailing Home Bundle to create a Double Z fold card. This stamp set is perfect for all your masculine projects. Having said that I love anything nautical too! This set was the first thing in the new Annual Catalogue that went on my wish list. I have to say the list is long. There are so many beautiful stamp sets in this new Annual Catalogue.

To create the Card base I cut a piece of Night of Navy to 28cm x 10cm. I scored on the long side at 7cm and then 14cm to create the Z fold. I cut another piece of Night of Navy card stock to 28cm x 3cm and also scored on the long side at 7cm and 14cm.

I stamped the yacht images and the Congrats sentiment on Whisper White card stock and cut these images out with the coordinating die. I stamped the "Set sail in the direction of your dreams" sentiment on Balmy Blue card stock and die cut it with the label die. I die cut the wheel, knot and the rope in Crumb Cake.

I cut two pieces of Balmy Blue card stock to 6.5cm x 6.5cm and 6.5cm x 13.5cm. On the pieces I used sponge daubers and the cloud mask to create little clouds. On the bigger piece I stamped the birds in Night of Navy. I glued these  2 layersdown to the card base.

For the middle section of the fold I cut the Come Sail Away DSP to 6.5cm x 9.5cm and glued it in place. On top I glued the larger sentiment and the knot below.

I then glued the smaller Z fold to the bottom of the card base. You reverse the Z so that the scored 14cm piece is at the left hand side. You only glue the first 7cm of this to the card and the last 7cm that is scored to the right hand side of the card.

I then glued another piece of DSP to the smaller Z fold. This is cut 27.5cm x 2.5cm.

I then glued the yachts, wheel and rope in place. The Congrats sentiment is popped up using Dimensionals. And that is it! Below my post is a list of supplies needed to make this fun card.

I loved making this card. It is the first Fancy Fold that I have designed myself and I am pretty happy with how it turned out too! I hope you like it too!
