Colour INKspiration #192

Hello snd welcome to Colour INKspiration #192.

We have another beautiful colour palette for you to feel inspired by. Beautiful bright colours!

I was tempted to use a darker colour for my card base but settled on gorgeous Bubble Bath to soften the other colours. I have used the Impressions Abloom Bundle for my project. I love this fun bundle and the floral images are so beautiful to use. A favourite that will be on high rotation in my creative space.

The card base and Embossed layer are Bubble Bath. The Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder was used on the Mat layer. The matt layer was glued to the card base. Then an oval from the die set was cut using Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on the right hand side of the oval. This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals. 

The three floral images were stamped in Gorgeous Grape, Bubble Bath and Azure Afternoon and Timid Tiger was used for the centres of the flowers. I die cut the blooms using the coordinating dies. I adhered these to the bottom left of the oval die cut piece. I cut extra leaves and blooms in Basic White card stock and arranged these underneath the blooms using glue. The finishing touch were three Bubble Bath Adhesive Dots placed on the oval layer around the blooms.

A very simple card but so lovely to look at and enjoy.

Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Christmas in July

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for July.

This month we are choosing a colour palette to use when creating. I have chosen the beautiful colours below. Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie. I instantly thought of a country Christmas. and wanted to represent that with my card.

I have thought outside the box by using a stamp set that was not created specifically for Christmas. The Scenic Adventure stamp setwas perfect for this country themed card. The sentiment is from a new bundle that will be available in the upcoming Mini Catalogue called Peace on Earth. You will love it!

My card base is Real Red and then a Matt layer of Pecan Pie card stock was glued to the base. The next layer is Crumb Cake and I have used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder to keep with the country feel. I used Crumb Cake ink to colour the edges of this layer and put some ink spatters on it as well. I roughed the edges with my scissors before gluing it to the card front.

I die cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock using one of the Everyday Arch Dies. Stamped some of the trees in Soft Sea Foam ink on the right hand side and used Soft Sea Foam ink to colour the bottom of the arch. I adhered this layer using Dimensionals.

I die cut the trees in Mossy Meadow card stock and adhered them on top of the stamped trees using glue. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark™ ink and heat embossed it in White before trimming to fit the bottom of the arch. I adhered it using Dimensionals.

I cut a length of the Beach and Very Vanilla ribbon then coloured it using a Real Red Stampin' Blend. Tie it in a bow and adhere centrally underneath the sentiment.
