Stampers Showcase Blog Hop -Thanks and Gratitude

Welcome to the October Stampers Showcase Blog Hop.

This month we are featuring Thank You and Gratitude projects. I needed a card to welcome a new team member so this was a great opportunity to make this project for my new team member.

I wanted a soft and pretty card for this months hop. I have teamed the beautiful Bold Boquet Bundle with the Countryside Corners Dies and Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. I have CASed my card from the very talented Artisan Heather Thomas. She has created a wonderful card using the Cheerful Daisies with the Countryside corners dies. You can see her project here on YouTube.

The card base is Basic White and the Embossed Countryside Blossoms layer is also Basic White. I glued the embossed layer to the card front. The stitched Countryside corner die cut was stamped in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment layer was stamped in Mossy Meadow and then die cut using the next size down die from the Countryside Corners Dies.I popped this up on Dimensionals on the card front.  The sentiment is from the Bold Boquet stamp set. I only inked the word Thanks prior to stamping it. I popped this layer up on Dimensionals and placed on the stitched layer.

On Basic White card stock I stamped the flowers in Bubble Bath ink and the leaves in Soft Sea Foam ink before die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I used the Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Write Markers to colour the stamp for the 2 small buds prior to stamping and then die cutting. I cut out three Vellum leaves as well. I arranged this on the top of the sentiment layer and adhered with glue and Dimesnionals before adhering three of the pink adhesive backed sequins around the spray of flowers and leaves. The Countryside Corners Dies work so well with other products in our catalogues. I am using them quite a lot when creating projects this month.

Colour INKspiration #154

Hello and welcome to Colour INKspiration #154!

We have another fabulous inspiration image for you this month. Chosen by crew member Rose Packer.

Whilst these colours typically don't make you think Christmas I set about making it work with the fun Sending Cheer Bundle. I also wanted to incorporate the snowflake from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks and some Embossing Paste. I love using Masks and found this an easy background layer to create.

The card base and background layer are Pool Party card stock. I used the Snowflake mask from the Abundant Beauty Masks and Embossing Paste to create the background. I let it dry for an hour before gluing it to the card base. The Gingerbread man is stamped in Crumb Cake and the gifts Poppy Parade with Berry Burst ribbons. I left the Gingerbread man faceless. He is very cute either way.

The sentiment is a piece of Basic White card stock with Poppy Parade ink. Then I die cut it using one of the Countryside Corners Dies and shortened it to fit. I tied a 20cm length of Linen Thread in a double bow and adhered it using a Glue Dot™to the top left of the sentiment. I then place three of the White Adhesive Backed Sequins on the background layer to finish the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. You are appreciated!

Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

It is time for another Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop!

This time we have a fun Sketch Challenge. I love the layout and didn’t have anything exactly matching the white central shape. So I decided to use the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle. This Bundle is now available as an Online Exclusive. I have really enjoyed using it since I purchased it. I have teamed it with the pretty Garden Walk Designer Series Paper. This 6' x6' DSP is so sweet and has lots of colour variety for all your projects including Christmas Cards.

I resisted the urge to use a Calypso Coral Card Base as I like the fresh look a Basic White card base gives. I cut the DSP first and the thin floral strips are 1.8cm wide if you are looking to make this card. I glued all the DSP to the card front.

I stamped the hexagon label image in Garden Green and then stamped the floral stem in Calypso Coral before punching it out. I tied a 30cm lngth of the Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim in a double bow before adhering to the card front using Glue Dots™.

I then adhered the hexagon label using Dimensionals on the top of the ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set  in Garden Green then die cut it using the Something Fancy Dies. I adhered the sentiment layer using Dimensionals and glue. I secured three of the Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems around then central image and sentiment.

Up next on this months blog hop is my talented friend Aurélie  Fabre. Please click on the next button below to keep hopping with the crew.

I hope you enjoyed reading how simply this came together or are inspired to create a project.

Thanks for stopping by today 😊
