The colours are just so serene and complimentary. I set about making a simple clean card using the Textured Notes Bundle and coordinating Designer Series Paper. I love the elements inked in Cajun Craze. A colour I do not use often enough.
The card base is Cajun Craze. A mat layer of Crumb Cake is underneath the Designer Series Paper layer. How beautiful is this DSP? I die cut a piece of Basic Beige card stock using one of the rectangular Textured Notes dies. I stamped the circular woven image in Crumb Cake ink on the left hand side of the Basic Beige piece. Then I stamped the smaller branches in Cajun Craze twice above the circular woven image and stamped the straight woven image in Cajun Craze to the right of the circular image so the sentiment piece would sit on top of it.
I stamped the large leaf image in Cajun Craze ink on Basic Beige card stock. I used my Water Painter to spread the ink on the filled in leaves. I let it dry and then fussy cut it. I wound some of the split Gold Twisted Thread around in a circle and adhered it on top of the circular woven image and adhered it to the card front using GlueDots™. I then adhered the fussy cut leaf image over the top using Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark™ink on Cajun Craze card stock. Sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I then trimmed it using my Trimmer. Then adhering the sentiment using Dimensionals. The final piece was adding the Tiny Bee Trinket to my card front.
I hope to have inspired you today. I also hope you will join us for one of these fun colour challenges. Have a great week!
